Maître-Plongeur Total

Scuba Diving is... Adventure. Adrenaline. Exploration. Freedom. Total!

The Total Master Scuba Diver course package is the final step on your road to obtaining the prestigious title of PADI Master Scuba Diver. Short of becoming a dive professional, the Master Scuba Diver certification shows that you are among the best of the best.

As explained in the Master Scuba Diver Challenge, you must have logged 50 dives and have completed the following PADI courses: PADI Open Water Diver, PADI Advanced Open Water Diver, PADI Rescue Diver and five PADI Speciality Diver courses. There are more than 20 specialities to chose from and Total Diving can teach them all!

At Total Diving, you can achieve this pretigious level in 3 easy steps:

  1. Total Diver: It includes, among other things, the Open Water and Advanced Open Water Diver courses.
  2. Total Rescue Diver: It includes, among other things, the PADI Rescue Diver course.
  3. Total Master Scuba Diver: You will find the details of this course package below.

If you prefer, you can do the courses included in step 3 right after step 2. Either way, at the end of these 3 steps, you will be one of the best diver in the world: A Total Master Scuba Diver!

What is included in the Total Master Scuba Diver package?

The Total Master Scuba Diver course package includes the following:

  • 5 PADI specialties;
  • All course manuals;
  • Nav-Finder slate for underwater navigation;
  • Boat diving fees in St-Zotique for some of the dives;
  • Your PADI Master Scuba Diver application fee (once you have satisfied all other requirements);
  • A Total Master Scuba Diver hat and back-pack bag.

The specialties that we have hand-picked for this package are the following:

  • Underwater Navigation: It's pretty fundamental for any diver to be able to find your way back at the end of a dive!
  • Peak Performance Buoyancy or Dry Suit Diver: Your choice. In both cases, you will increase your buoyancy control, be more comfortable underwater and consume less air.
  • Deep Diver: ...because you always end up going deeper than you thought you would, especially in the pristine waters of the Caribbean where 100 feet feels shallow! We might as well be ready for it.
  • Nitrox Diver: It is becoming very popular. Why? Well... Let me ask you: Why not reduce our absorption of nitrogen?
  • Wreck Diver: If you intend to dive around here, we almost always dive on wrecks in the St. Lawrence river. Even down South, you will frequently dive on wrecks because they tend to be a great habitat for fish and various underwater creatures.

When can I do the Total Master Scuba Diver? How long does it take?

You can achieve these 5 specialties in as little as 2 week-ends.

During the Summer, we offer, once a month, a week-end in the Thousand Islands, with Total Diving Brockville, during which you can do your Deep, Wreck and Nitrox diver courses in one week-end, as long as you have already done your Advanced Open Water diver course with the wreck and deep elective dives.

We also have regular week-ends during which you can do your underwater navigation dives on Saturday in St-Timothé and the buoyancy dives on Sunday in St-Zotique. You can do this part right after your PADI Open Water diver certification.

Check our course schedule for specialty dives or just come talk to us about it and we'll prepare a personalized game plan for you.

The experience, knowledge and expertise acquired in this program will also give you a perfect preparation if you intend to make the jump into a career as a dive professional.

Let's have some fun!
